A team that loves to create
Xander has spent the past seven years both starting and directing numerous online leagues and communities. He also brings nearly a decade of real-life racing experience, mainly in karts, ranging from the local level to the top national series.
Xander's karting career began at a local indoor rental karting facility. Without any connections to the motorsports world, his parents were very anxious to jump into anything more than the arrive-and-drive karts he was competing in. Racing, of course, is a financial burden as well, and that did not help his case.
However, after finding a friend from the indoor facility competing at Xander's eventual home kart track, he finally got his start at the age of 12. He competed locally for a year and a half before moving to the national level in 2014, where he competed in a total of four events between the United States Pro Kart Series and the WKA Manufacturer's Cup in Yamaha Junior as a privateer.
Xander hasn't been able to race too much over the past three years, but in 2017 his racing schedule has more than doubled due to his skyrocketing success as a rising race announcer. Now an official driver for DCT SpeedSport, Clements will be racing the SKUSA SummerNationals and the entire United States Pro Kart Series season.
